Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University - Imagine yourself DEBT FREE...  70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and the most common reason for divorce is financial problems.  Classes started June 22 in the Parish Hall.  Also open to non-parishioners.  Contact Joey Pitts for more information and when the next set of 13 week classes begins: 368-9941.

Father Mitch Pacwa Lecture - Six sessions at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Birmingham on St. Paul's missionary teaching on the Sacraments.  Commemorating the 2,000th anniversary of the Saint's birth and to celebrate the Year of St. Paul declared by the Pope. Sessions begin in September.

Adult Theology Program - Spring Hill College’s Adult Theology Program: Theology of Church, Instructor: Dr. John Switzer.  Six Saturdays: 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 2008: 9am-4pm at Diocesan Office Building in Birmingham. The course will explore the significance  of the Church’s self-understanding using The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) as case study. Catholic Businessmen's and Professionals Association - Quarterly luncheon Wednesday, August 20th, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, at The Club.  The speaker will be Catholic author and apologist Gary Michuta.  The topic will be "Why Catholic Bibles are Bigger."  Ever been asked why Catholic bibles have more books?  Here's your chance to find out the information you need to respond intelligently and appropriately to that or similar questions.  Cost of the luncheon is $25 and reservations can be made by emailing John Martignoni or call 744-1856.

Spiritual Journey to Ireland - Fr. Palms - If you have blessed palms from past years, you may bring them to church for us to dispose of.  You may also dispose of them in a natural way - - such as burning or cutting into small pieces and burying in your garden.  For those who would like to fold their new palms into a cross - click here.
