Elijah Cup -
St. Theresa has two (2) Elijah Cups to be used
by parishioners as a focal point during daily prayer for an increase
in religious vocations. The
unconsecrated chalices will be
presented to parishioners each Sunday at the conclusion
of Mass. The chalices come in black cases along with prayer
journals, holy cards, pamphlets and binders with instructions and
suggestions for using the cup. The Elijah Cups are then returned to
the Parish before the next weekend's Mass for the next parishioner
who signed to receive them. Sign up sheets are located in the
vestibule after each Mass; or you may also contact the Parish Office
to sign up.
Praying
for vocations is a responsibility and privilege of the laity.
The Elijah Cup is a focal point for Praying only (not to be
used for drinking).
